Uganda Safaris
Direct from Local Tour Operators

We take no booking and charge you no fee. The operator quotes you and runs your safari.

How This
Works

A listing site, not a tour company. Four steps, and the last three are with the operator.

Browse Every safari on this site is one a Uganda-based tour company is actually selling.
Compare Filter by park, activity and trip length, then read the day-by-day itineraries side by side.
Enquire Send your questions from the safari page. The enquiry goes to that operator, not to us.
Deal direct The operator quotes you, takes the booking and runs the trip. We take no payment and no fee.

What An Enquiry Does

Send an enquiry from any safari page and it goes to the tour operator selling that trip. They reply to you, they quote you, and any booking or payment is between you and them.

This site never takes a payment and never adds a fee to the operator’s price.

How This Site Works
The tour operator that sells the safari, directly. This site is a listing site: it publishes safaris from Uganda-based tour companies so you can compare them in one place. It does not sell, book or run any of the trips, it never handles your payment, and it does not add a fee to the operator's price.
Use the filters to narrow the list by destination, activity and trip length, then open the listings that look close. Each one shows the operator, the day-by-day itinerary and the trip length, so you can put two or three side by side before you contact anyone.
Because only some operators have published one. Where a price is shown it is the operator's own figure and the operator confirms it when they quote you. Where none is shown, the listing says so rather than guessing - ask the operator and they will price it for your dates and group size.
Permits are issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority, strictly limited per day, and allocated to a named habituated gorilla family for one hour. They sell out well ahead in the busier months. The operator running your safari buys the permit and confirms the current fee with your quote.
The drier months - roughly December to February and June to September - give firmer forest trails for gorilla and chimp trekking and thinner bush for game viewing. The wetter months trade some comfort for greener landscapes, better birding and quieter parks.
